* Welcome to Nursery *

Our Nursery children have settled in beautifully.

I am so proud of how they come to school every day with beaming smiling faces, taking it all in their stride.

The children are forming wonderful relationships with one another and are now familiar with routines and expectations.

Our topic this half term - What happens in Autumn?

This half term we will be exploring the season of Autumn. We will observe changes in weather and the environment. We will explore the environment around us and find out about the different animals, festivals and changes throughout the seasons.

We will learn about bonfire night, the festival of Diwali and Christmas.

We will begin to build and develop relationships with one another and work and play together developing our listening and sharing skills.

We will sing new and familiar nursery rhymes and begin to retell simple stories.

We will recite and begin to recognise numbers to 5 and explore the world around us through our senses.

We will also explore the 5 key concepts of prints.

In nursery this half term we will explore ourselves and our families - We ask if you could please send your child in with a photograph of their family or post this to tapestry. Thank you in advance.
