Admissions

Our current number of pupils on role (PAN - Pupil Admissions Number) is 230, including Nursery.

Parents wishing to apply for a place in Reception Class 2026-27 at St Anthony's Catholic Primary School MUST complete a copy of our Supplementary Application Form (which can be downloaded below) and return to school along with a copy of the child’s birth certificate and baptism certificate. Parent's must also submit an online application to the Local Authority, details of this can be found in the Applying for Primary School Place Booklet September 2026.  Please note: This does not mean your child has been allocated a place at school.

How to apply for Reception places

An online form must be completed using the Bradford Council Admissions website.

The application period runs from 17th November 2025 with applications closing on 15th January 2026.

In addition to the online application, parents must complete a supplementary information form (SIF), which can be downloaded below and must be returned directly to school.

Please note: if you do not provide a completed SIF, this may affect the oversubscription prioritisation criteria in which your child is placed.

The national offer day when parents/carers are informed of which school their child has secured a place, is 16th April 2026.

Late applications cannot be considered until all of the other applicants have been placed.

Supplementary Information Form

In Year Applications/Transfers

In year applicants will  need to complete in an In Year Transfer form for the Local Authority in addition to completing a Supplementary Information Form which must be returned to the school. You will be contacted at the appropriate time if we have been able to allocate a place for your child.  Pupils will only be accepted at the beginning of a new term and mid-term transfers will only be considered in exceptional circumstances.
